A member would like to purchase some hi cap berrta mags I have for sale. He lives in Newyork State and from looking at pictures of the magazine believes that are pre ban mags.... This is not my expertise and don't want to break any laws....
What would I do?

If you are not sure, then I would not ship. Cheaper and no attorneys need get paid to defend you.

If your gut says don't, then don't. I would not. I did ship a KNOWN pre ban magazine once to an undisclosed location that was legal to own said pre ban magazines.

With the ban states I always thought it was the duty of the receiver to know what he was getting as possession is the illegal part not sending them to the person. I am not a lawyer though.
I would not mess with ban states if it were me.
