I use the Ranger plate on my AR mags. Does anybody have experience with the Speedplate on their Glock mags? If so, are they worth using? Thanks.

No experience with them, here.

I'm fairly certain they're well made, as it's Magpul.

I think you don't see alot of 'em in use because a pistol mag is small, and usually carried in a pouch where alot of the mag body is exposed.  Both these things make a pistol mag alot easier to grab and reload with.

I use 550 cord and the Magpul "pull tabs" (the rubber slip-on ones) on my AR mags, but have never found the need for something like that on pistol mags.

Just my rambling 2 cents.

I'd use 'em if I thought I needed 'em.

They work great for guns with deep magwells.  Other than that, they're useless.

AH!  Very true, hadn't thought of that.

I actually just bought a pack of them for $10.  Not needed I'm sure, but I wanted to try them for the heck of it.  I've only put one on, but it seems nice.
