So, I've noticed that the double action trigger pull with my Arsenal isn't very smooth (esp. when the hammer is about to drop.)  Very different from my CZ-82.

Questions...

- is it supposed to be this way?

- any way to smooth it out?  or is this the Way of the Makarov?

Both my Bulgarian & E. German maks all have pretty good DA trigger-pulls, though I don't shoot them in DA mode much.  They break cleanly but are a little heavy...

In my opinion, the CZ-82 triggers are tough act to follow - mine have GREAT triggers in both SA and DA mode.  Maybe you've just spoiled yourself?

HA - good point.  The CZ does have a magnificent trigger.

The Mak is still leagues better than the DA for the Nagant revolver
