I just got an early Christmas present from my wife, an M&P9c.  When releasing the trigger, I get a "Click" and then after releasing a little more it "Clicks" again, but it is a smaller click.  The trigger doesn't actually reset until the smaller "Click"

Is this something S&W should look at?  What about the APEX RAM?

The RAM is legit...

Mine does the same thing, but only when releasing the trigger very slowly.  I don't notice two clicks when operating the trigger at normal speed.  If it causes fail to fire issues definitely get S&W to look at it, otherwise I wouldn't be all that concerned.

I just installed the APEX DCEAK and RAM in my M&P9c yesterday morning.  It is AWESOME!  Best investment in your M&P by far!  I have the DCAEK in my full size M&P9 (duty gun) and can't wait until they release the RAM for it (it has the thumb safety).

That first click is the false reset ... Very irritating. Maybe it wears out over time but I'd rather have the right reset and a sweet trigger pull the first time out than have to blow 500 rounds through it and THEN start enjoying the trigger.

I have an Apex sear and one from DougWG (member here) and I give the edge to the Doug sear.
