[ARCHIVED THREAD] - M&P 40 Slide stop...

Right side slide stop on my M&P 40 broke off at the range this afternoon. I have heard of it happening to other M&Ps.

I've heard of this happening to other M&Ps. Before I call S&W for a RMA, I'm wondering does someone makes an aftermarket part that is stronger than the factory part?

I haven't heard of one. But S&W fixed me right up when I called them. They will want the pistol back to swap out, but I told them I would handle it myself and they sent the part right out.

Older slide stop assemblies had this issue. All the new ones are just fine. You must have an older M&P.
