Would the M&P Compact 9mm be a good concealed carry gun for a small woman?
Are the better options in a 9 mm semi-auto? |
| Awesome comparison photos. Thanks! Just one quick question for you, which backstrap is that with? I ask because with my hands (small itsy girly hands on a 6'2" 200lb guy - go figure) I have a hell of a time getting the mag release on a G19/G26 so I'm hoping with the m&p and the small backstrap the length of the grip is reduced enough that I can nail the release more easily. I need something more Sig 226 like in the grip, whose mag release I have no issue getting to. |

I use that one for maximum concealability even though it doesn't fit my hand the best. I ask because with my hands (small itsy girly hands on a 6'2" 200lb guy - go figure) I have a hell of a time getting the mag release on a G19/G26 Larry Vickers designed an improved mag release for the Glocks that Tango Down produces. You should try it sometime. It works wonders for guys like you. so I'm hoping with the m&p and the small backstrap the length of the grip is reduced enough that I can nail the release more easily. By default the M&P mag release is designed to be easier to get to and to use than the Glock release. I don't think you'll have any problems there. |
