I am on the fence for one. I have a .40 and 9mm  full size. 9 is awesome suppressed. 40 is my duty weapon. Trying to decide is the .45 worth it. This will be a fun gun and will be shot suppressed. Pics for motivation please

I really like my M&P45 FS. After installing an Apex poly trigger, it works very well for me and I shoot pretty good with it as well. Just wish they had 12 rd rather than 14 rd extended magazines.

I would like a M&P 45 for myself as well, so here's a picture to possibly motivate both of us
(couldn't get the picture with the threaded barrel to load ???)

I have  an M&P4 FS and really like it.  I put the Apex sear which really helps the trigger.

Picked up a W Hartford PD trade in from Buds. Great gun, great price. Trying to figure out how to justify buying one in 9mm now.

I have three M&P's, a 9c, 9Pro and FS 45. The 45 is a little snappy compared to a steel full size gun like a 1911. Nice gun, accurate and feels great. Don't shoot mine as much as the 9's.

We have the .45s for work. We have had a lot of magazine related issues.  Other than that they are an OK gun.

I had some mag failure as well for my duty .40 i decided against the .45. I figure better guns out there for the same or little more price point

From my understanding from a local sheriffs office that issued the M&P, the mags supplied to agencies were not the same quality as the commercial mags.

I love mine.... Yes 25 yard Timed/Rapid fire target for CMP/NRA matches. Shot one handed.
This is out of the box. The only thing I changed is, I installed a Ultimate Striker Block Kit (Striker Block, Spring and Talon Tactical Tool) from Apex. Not the entire Enhancement kit.

It could be the springs as well. I bought some 10rd. 45acp mags that had the black colored spring in them. That's the older type and when I called S&W they sent out the newest light blue colored springs and new followers for free. The rep made sure I understood that the new followers and springs should not be mixed with the older ones.

I like the FS45s so much I bought two of them. Both bought used, both very accurate and 100% reliable. I added the lanyard take down tools, Apex sears only, updated slide stops and my DIY round and polish job on the striker blocks.
