If your getting it from Centerfire, they will do you right. Never owned one, but have heard positive things about them.

It cam e from Centerfire, but now it's from a private party.

Good price?

Sure. They aren't quite as reliable as the SiG 230 or Bersa 380 but still a beautiful and fun gun.

I had one several years ago and it was a very nice little pistol.  It was very accurate, and 100% reliable with the ball ammo I was using.  It had a very good feel to it.  Mine was a West German police trade in, but in very good condition.   I sold mine as I'm lefthanded, and also the 32cal. ammo was too expensive to plink with.   I have a KelTec P32 now for concealed carry.  It's MUCH smaller and imminently more concealed carry friendly.  I think the price is in the ballpark, but there are lots of these floating around so you might shop a bit..

I would love to have a PP in 22cal to play with, but they are PRICY..  So, I have a Firestorm FS22 which  is very accurate, 100% reliable, and "looks" like a Walther PP/PPKs.

There's definitely nothing wrong with the Walther's made in France..  Same pistol, manufactured cross the border, and down the road..   Just pretend it's not made by the folks whose butt's we saved in WW2 and you're good to go..

The French company Manurhin is a licensee of Walther, so they should be really close if not exact to the original German made ones.

I have one.  I have to say it's my second favorite range pistol with the first one being my accurized Glock 19C.  The little Manurhin has many rounds through it now and never missed a beat.  I am starting to collect pistols in 32ACP just because I like the PP so much.

To answer your original question: Not a bad deal.  I paid $360 for mine with tax, transfer and shipping.  Mine came from Centerfire and has matching serial numbers on the mags.

I've got one . ..

from CenterFire about 18 months ago.

Paid $249 with my C&R.  VERY nice little pistol -- would rate it about 95% on the "finish".

Loaded with ball ammo these little pistols are EXTREMELY reliable.

Better planning on getting an extra mag too.

$295 for a privae purchase is a very good price, I would say . . . . .

Sounds like a good buy... just get it! The PP is a great design.

I really love mine.  It is a very sweet shooting little pistol.  Many people don't know, but for a long time ALL Walther PPs were actually manufactured by Manurhin.

I paid $249 for mine two years ago so you're not doing bad at $295, especially if it has the "matched target" of the Centerfire "Collector Series".

Liked mine so much I looked and found a PPK to make a set :)

Very nice Dan.  If you don't mind my asking, where did you find it and how much?

HEAVY trigger pull!

If the Walther PP design interests you, and you're really interested in them, these are decent examples of the breed.  In other words, it's a fair deal for a collector.

If you intend to do a lot of shooting or maybe using it as a CCW, the Walther PP has its share of faults - a heavy trigger and rather uncomfortable grip being two issues that I personally have with it.

Plus, 32 ACP is neither as cheap as it should be, nor as effective as you'd want.

I have the Manurhin PPK/S in 380.  Its a fun gun to shoot but not as reliable as my Sig P232.
