I'm sure there is laready a topic on breaking down my new Mark III. I will find it. In the meantime, would anyone like to offer some secrets? Love the gun, its just a little more intense to take down than my other autos. Thanks for any help.

I've found no way to skimp on the break other than grinding down an old toothbrush to assist with moving the hammer in some stages of the tear down/rebuild. It's kinda like a rotating tires, you don't want to do it(even if you have an air compressor to assist) but if you don't do it  it'll cost atleast two more in the end.

After having a 500rd session the day before, a lot of gritty dirt accumulated inside the frame around the trigger, slide release, hammer etc.  So yesterday, I removed the trigger and hammer group from the frame for a detailed cleaning.  JEEEZ!!!....This thing was kicking my ass!!!hree
I haven't found any shortcuts yet.  I think I took the long scenic route last night.
