I have a couple Mec-Gar magazines that came with my TP9SF. Like most mags it has a button on the bottom for take down. The buttons on my mags are so still I cant depress them enough to remove the baseplate. Is there something I am missing here?

I live in CO. We have a capacity limit of 15 here. Apparently when the gunsmith put the capacity restrictor in he made it so that the mags cant be disassembled.
