I own one of the 3rd generation Pros and in the beginning it jammed quite a bit. But after afew 100 rounds she began to work flawlessly. It is fairly compact holds 12 plus one and now that I have shot it quite a bit it is one of the more accurate pistols I have. I have this as my ccw and it is 80 percent of the time on my hip. So good luck I enjoy my PT111.

Last friday a local gunshop employee was playing around with one. Took it apart and springs went everywhere. They couldn't figure out how to get it back together. Any links on a parts list or diagram?

I was going to get a Millenium Pro until I saw that Taurus now has the 24/7 Pro C which is essentially the same size but with a more comfortable grip, IHO.

I'll be picking up the 24/7 Pro C.

I have a 3rd gen MilPro in .380. PT-138. It's easily the biggest piece of crap I've ever bought. That seems to be the general MO of Taurus you either get a gun that is great or a complete heap and their customer service is easily the worst in the business.

On my first outing it shot everywhere. Minute of pie plate was barely achieveable at 10 yards. I noticed that the front side was lose and ready to fall off. It was neither tight nor loc-tited. I had to fix that. While doing that, I noticed that the rear sight blade was installed backwards from the factory. The rear is adjustable and was simply installed backwards. I could tell because the impressions where the white paint should be were facing the front of the gun. And of course, there was no paint in the impressions...That is horrible attention to detail if you ask me.

Once all that was fixed, it still shoots horribly. Minute of pie plate is still barely achievable at 10 yards. I get a better pattern from my shotgun. The sad part is that I'm not being funny and I'm not exaggerating. I'm no Rob Leatham, but I can shoot. I've had others shoot this pistol to the same result. The only thing I can think of is that the crown is cut wrong and it looks funny just from eyeballing it.

Would I buy another Taurus? Not without shooting it thoroughly checking it and testing it.

My roommate CCWs a PT111 pro.  I've put a couple hundred rounds through it and I like it a lot.  Very accurate once I got used to the sights, I liked the trigger a whole lot, the safety is easy to use, and 12+1 in a small package.

I have a PT111 PRO in 9mm, over 700 rounds in it, bought new, it has never jammed on me.  I think the early models had an issue, this has been perfect.  Pistol is small and accurate, plus has 12 shots.

I have had 9mm in Glock, 19 Springfield XD compact and Sig 239, for Conceal carry I prefer the PT111.

I bought one for my wife and she liked it for a while then she shot my XD I found the trigger to be a little rough especially for a little 9mm. Also, the first time out to the range I noticed the front sight was a little off. Luckily, Taurus has a pretty decent lifetime warranty so I sent it in and got it fixed and it's still a pretty decent little shooter. Overall, it's a decent pistol.
