Whats a good retail price for the Mk23?  I am in the market for one and seem them range from 1700-2500 on GunBroker.  Thanks!!

For the buyer or the seller? heh...

I don't know about good "retail" price, but I paid $1675 for a new one.  I did see a used one go for $1500 on gunbroker recently... and that was the buy it now.  I'm sure they've changed hands for less too.

Unless you're looking for a collector peice, find a slightly used one in the 1500-1600 range if you can.  Otherwise I'd expect to pay $1700 - 1900 new.

I bought a used non-safe queen for $1400.

A member on here bought one off his friend for $800 which included something around 500 rds...  Lucky SOB.

If you pay more than 1750, you're paying too much IMHO.

Where did you find one for that price?

I personally found mine on mark23.com (new for $1675).

If you're patient and watch the boards, you'll find a good deal.

Here's a list of sites to watch:

Sturmgewehr

HK Pro forums marketplace

guns america HK pistols

Mark23.com (have to register I think)

Subguns.com (saw one on here pretty cheap... not a TOO commonly visited site for non-NFA weapons though)

Glock talk

Auction arms

gunbroker

And of course, the Equipment Exchange here on ar15.com...  there are others, naturally, but these are some of the more popular ones (or specific to the Mark 23).

Shop around and you'll find em.  My first one (4 years back) was 1775 very lightly used, AB date code.

My second...brand new (3 months back) was 1650 brand new, AH date code, black frame.

I'm in the same boat.  I should have enough to buy a new one sometime next month and have been shopping around.  It seems the pickings are rather slim right now.  I've found a source that lists them at 1710 new but they are out of stock.  There have been a few on Gunbroker and Gunsamerica lately but they are all in the 2100+ range and some of them come with 10rd instead of 12rd mags or are used.
