Can you use 38 +P ammo in a model 10-9
Will it cause any problems to the pistol?

I wouldn't make a habit out of using it for target shooting. (it's too expensive) But you shouldn't have any problems using it for self defense or any other type of shooting.

All steel Smith K frames will handle 38+P; many agencies ran steady diets of 38+P through their revolvers throughout their service life.
