Tried shooting rimfire silhouette matches by switching from the Model 41 with optics to the K-22 with irons, and the transition just wasn't as easy as I thought. I hadn't planned on them being that different.

So, another 5.5" heavy seems to do the job well.

Swapped them back and forth for a couple of days at the range and they both hold zero perfectly.

And I can shoot the M41 with irons better than I can shoot the K-22 with irons when I'm swapping from M41 to K-22.

Sure is fun and very inexpensive compared to all my centerfire pistols.

Just the usual haunts, Gunbroker, Ebay, and the S&W forum.

One just sold on ebay for about $225-$250.

Or Clark Customs sells a high-end barrel without sights. That's about the best out there if you have the money.
