In the market for a decent .22lr revolver.  Handled one of these at a shop today and it felt alright and looked good, anything bad about them?

Stay away from it is all I can say.

I had one. It had awful tool marks which I could live with. However, the trigger pull was off the scale. Within fifty rounds my trigger finger was too tired to pull the trigger in DA without rest.

I bought a blued 94 for my son and the cylinder was dragging on the forcing cone.  This contributed to a very heavy trigger pull.  I took a couple of thousands off the end of the forcing cone but the 94 does  not  have the nice smooth trigger you find on a S&W.  I bought a used SS model 94 and this pistol had a very good double and single action trigger.  The front of the cylinder on the SS 94 was not milled square and the cylinder would drag on the forcing cone.  I polished the cylinder to get clearance but after a few rounds I start getting Failure to Fire on three chambers.  These are the same three chamber every time.  The revolver will usually fire single action on every chamber but in double action the three chambers don't want to fire unless the pistol is perfectly clean.  I think someone may have replaced the factory main spring and I don't know if a heavy main spring will eliminate the failure to fire.  I really wanted a 6 shot S&W model 18 but hadn't been able to find any.  I guess the Taurus is good for 6 rounds out of 9 and all I have to do is index the cylinder.  Fortunately I got the SS 94 for a fair price but I'm very hesitant to buy anymore Taurus revolvers.  I'm hope Ruger reintroduces the SP101 in 22LR.

I would much rather have a Smith, however the only used .22lr I've seen for sale was $750+, which is well out of my price range.

I had 2 of these revolvers a 5" and a 4".  Trigger pull reminded me of the Nagant revolvers I used to have.  I have since sold the Nagants and the 94s.  Triggers were crap due to the hard pull.
