I am looking for feedback on getting a Model 94 in stainless with the 5 inch barrel. The other alternative (and more expensive is to get the reintroduced S&W model 63 with a 5 inch barrel). I want a small framed 22 revolver with a 5 inch barrel for cheap plinking. Thoughts? |

ruger has a .22 single action. i don't think the make a double action any more. i have 2 of the taurus 94s. one i bought in 1999 with a 5" barrel and no under barrel lug. no problems with it. shoots good. the second 94 with 4" barrel and a full under barrel lug i bought maybe 2 yers ago. trigger kinda sucks. shoots alright. had a problem with the cylinder not locking after it was cocked for single action. never shot the smith but i hear the smith shoot sweet. |
