Pretty cool modifications to the G43, just not sure it's worth the price. All in, you would be $1k including the cost of purchasing the G43.
Mod 1 Firearms I am in not affiliated with them in any way, but the pistol looks pretty awesome with all the work, much less expensive than a Salient. Pricing listed below for review purposes: G42/43 Carry 2015 Pricing Basic Package $315.00 (Customer Provided Glock 42/43) Full Grip Texture With Trigger Guard Undercut Front Serrations (Straight or Angled) Cerakote Refinish Options $20.00 Secondary Trigger Guard Undercut $90.00 Slide Top Dish Cut (Front & Rear) $75.00 Slide Full Bevel $85.00 TiN Barrel Coating $50.00 MOD 1 G42/43 Carry Trigger $145.00 Trijicon HD Tritium Sights |

Is it Shooting POA with those HD sights??
How is your hold? Also are they the HD sights that come in the package that Trijicon sells or does it have a taller/shorter front sight?? Mine is shooting slightly low with factory sites and another person on here is saying that there was a shooting high with the HD sights (10 yards) I can compensate for being slightly low at 10 yards but I am concerned about it shooting really high. That thing looks sweet !!!! |
| Nice pistol. Mods add up fast but that's the price for being able to brag. Not going to seek one out but I'd probably give it a good look if I ran across one. Yeti's definitely a good shot but I will say I'm surprised and impressed by the out of box accuracy of the 43 anyway... |

Looks neat but I can't see dropping four digits on a single stack 9mm. It's for the flat billed hat crowd that thinks having your barrel cerakoted gold and the slide milled to show it off is "high speed". Not that it's a bad thing, if you want it to look pretty and that's about it anyways. |

Kyle Lamb's hat isn't that flat, but he runs some bling. As do many others--though they probably don't pay what we would.
I'm not a fan of bling, but I do like the looks of nicely milled slides, etc. Anything to get away from the wide, square, blockiness of Glocks and make them look better. I think the Cold Bore Custom guy has a mod1 millled G43 that's very good looking and it was like $300 (of course he also worked his magic on it). Since I'll never sell one G19 and my G43, I like the idea of spoiling them and making them look better...though the G43 is already the nicest looking Glock around (along with its sister, the 42) due to thinness. |

Spent a little bit of time with a 43 yesterday. Single undercut and stipple. May enlarge the undercut a little more before I call it done. Will be milling the slide to add front serrations and perhaps some shallow cosmetic cuts before cerakote. http://i417.photobucket.com/albums/pp258/mattsdrag95/IMAG1846.jpg http://i417.photobucket.com/albums/pp258/mattsdrag95/IMAG1847.jpg http://i417.photobucket.com/albums/pp258/mattsdrag95/IMAG1850_1.jpg I've stippled with very pleasing results. But I have this mill and a very old, very BEAT G17 just begging for some slide work. While this gun is all duty now, I'm still interested in your "cosmetic cuts". |
