What’s the best way to widen the opening at the bottom of my kydex holster?  Should I use heat like a soldering iron or go with sandpaper?  Need to make room for threaded barrel.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

heat gun and a dowel.  it wont take much heat.  concentrate the heat where you want the opening....keep it away from where the pistol locks in

This, but also let it cool completely before you take the dowel out.  It will tend to spring back to its previous shape while it's hot.  You could even heat it, then insert the gun with the new barrel installed.even if it's a polymer pistol, you won't hurt it if you only heat the kydex just enough to let it soften.

If you want it to look decent, I'd suggest contacting the maker.

Hair dryer, dowel, damp cloth to cover most of the holster body worked perfectly.

Thanks All!
