I just picked up a Glock 40 Gen4 MOS from a member of a local forum and am wanting to mount an SRO that I have. I plan on using the OPF-G, RMR plate from FCD instead of the Glock plate. What is everyone's consensus? I only want to buy once and do it right from the get-go.

I'd personally save the money and get a DPP Titanium plate. They are well made and a decent bit cheaper. A Google search will reveal many happy customers.

OPF-G, RMR won't have an overhang on the sides of the slide, but the front two corner are contoured differently, as it's designed to work with the more numerous 9mm models. Cosmetic only, but we still point it out.

Thank you gents for your support! We don't take it for granted.
Introduced in 2020, it had earned its reputation in 3 months 4 years later, it has grown by word of mouth, as we don't advertise, and do little in marketing. We're constantly seeking to improve it. The basic design hasn't changed, we adjusted the tolerances over the years, but it's a successful design so we don't mess with it too much, a new variant will be available soon for folks that dive with their side arms, or live in high humidity area, but dimensionally it's the same. |
