[ARCHIVED THREAD] - My First

First a P-09, followed by a SP-01 Tactical... SOLD. Went all out, my CGW SP-01 Tactical(pro package) arrived today, has been a long time since a first trigger pull made me grin like a jackass.

Hope to get it to the range before the weekend.

Have over 400 rounds through it, the trigger is stellar. Really pleased, nothing but praise for CGW. Super service producing a super shooter.

I also have a CGW SP01 . I switched out the hammer spring for a 8 1/2 lb spring and it made my double action pull drop from 7 1/2 lb's to 5 1/2 lb's with 100% reliability with Federal primers .
Mine is just a range / IDPA gun but I have over 1000 rounds through it with that light hammer spring and not one fail to fire with the Federal primer .

Nice pistol OP... I got a P-01 in January, and got a 97B last week. I'm thinking an SP-01 is in order soon enough!

How do you like those grips?

Grips are very thin, but still really grippy. Will likely eventually swap them out for some VZ grips down the road to match my stock SP-01.
