Its an "early" model Ruger Redhawk in .44 Mag with a 7 inch barrel.
Obviously a used item but in excellent shape. It had what I thought was a very high price, but the guy worked with me on a price. I am not going to ask what an "early" used item like this costs as I am very happy with the purchase and don't want to burst my bubble. 
Here it is!!!!

That was going to be my first handgun and then I spied a 4" Colt Python for $275 in the used section.
That was in 1981 and I really wish I had "bought both" as per ARFCOM rules. Sold the Python, still wish I had the Red Hawk. They made them in a 5ish long barrel in 357 as well...that's another one that got away. |
