Ordered it earlier in the week, filled out the paper work today and once the delay is up I will be the proud new owner of a FN five-seven pistol

!!!!!! This will be my go to home defense weapon. I already have a Burris fast fire 2 (just ordered the mount) and I'm looking for suggestions for a light. The streamlight TLR-3 looks appealing but I'm reading mixed reviews. Dose anyone have any experience with this light? Does anyone have a suggestion for another light? I really don't think I need a laser and strobe and all that jazz. Thanks for the help!!

I have a TLR-3 on my FNP-45.

It's nice and compact and does not weigh much at all.

What are people complaining about? That you cannot use it to spot aircraft at 20,000ft? It's perfect for use inside the home IMHO.

Problems with them breaking, being made of plastic and almost plastic alone.

I went with the TLR-1S, but still might pick up a TLR-3 down the road.

The TLR-3 I had got about an hour run time (can't remember what they claim) the mount was a little flimsy and the battery was hard to find

The gun feels wonderfully balanced with the TLR-1s and a full mag.
