I have been itching for a g17 or g19 with the fish gills and I finally managed to find one at a funshow this past weekend.  It's a rtf2 gen3 G17.  I fired 200 rounds through it on Monday and I really like it.  Although I am more used to my g19 with a 3.5 # connector.  The trigger definetly seemed different in comparison.  And I do not like the factory sights, which I will replace shortly with some night sights.  Any advice on the sites would be great.

I have been looking for one since I first saw some pics of them here and believe it or not this was the first one I have seen in person and I have been looking for what seems like a year now.

I thought so to.  $495 out the door is what I paid and I thought it was a good price seeing as no one else has had one around here.  I don't know if they are rare or what.  But like I said this is the first one I have seen in person.

Nice pistol.

I'm partial to Ameriglo Pro Operator sights myself:

You can use the discount code "GSSF" at checkout for a 10% discount if you order direct from them.

I used to only use Trijicon sights until a buddy turned me on to these.  Worth the money.  I like the rear sights are not circled in white and the front post is.  You can quickly get a front sight picture.

I called my dealer and he told me for $90 installed for the trijicons.  So I'll probably just go that route with the night sights.  I can't find them for less than $89 before shipping and he'll charge me $20 to install.
