Anyone own a NAA Guardian? I looked at these about 5 years ago, but decided on a Kel-Tec because they are lighter. The Guardian felt like it would last longer. I ended up selling my Kel-Tec a little while later. I've missed having a pocket pistol and recently won a Guardian in 32ACP on gunbroker for an excellent price. For $255 shipped, I couldn't resist.

What do you think of the Guardian?

Had one, great shooter, but way too heavy (IMHO, YMMV) for an all-day/every-day pocket gun.

(If all I ever wore were jeans and cargo pants, I might have a different opinion... but I am in lightweight dress slacks/suits 5 or 6 days a week.)

For occasional carry or a jacket pocket, it might be fine. But if I have on pants with pockets I have a pocket gun in them, regardless of what is or isn't on my belt, for three decades now... the weight was the deal-breaker for me.

I have had one for about 13 years now (give or take...)... It's heavy for it's size, recoil as a result is light.  Trigger pull is long, smooth, but about 87lbs to the break.

Disappears easy in a pocket, honestly... I'd go with a more modern polymer frame 380 for most uses. My NAA Guardian has been a safe queen since I got my first P3AT... Since sold for a SW Bodyguard 380.  The NAA is very high quality, and I probably won't sell it, but it has been surpassed for my uses.

I really thought about getting an LCP, but recoil is pretty harsh with the light frame 380. I actually prefer the 32ACP as it is lighter on recoil and the difference between it and the 380 is negligible. I was going to but another P32, but it seems they are currently unavailable.

Since I won't be pocket carrying this, I probably won't notice the weight.
