is the 8 pound trigger spring all that is needed to switch to the NY1 trigger or is the 8 pound connector needed also?

Here is how the connector/spring combinations stack up. These are averages that I have tested over the last few years. Most tests were done on new or near new firearms.

#4.5 ........................ Std Trigger Spring ..... 5-6
#4.5 ........................ NY1(Olive) ................ 6-7
#4.5 ........................ NY2(Orange) ............ 8-9
#5.5 ........................ Std Trigger Spring ..... 6-7
#5.5 ........................ NY1(Olive) ............... 8-9
#5.5 ....................... NY2(Orange) ............. 12+(some as high as #15)
#8* ........................ Std Trigger Spring ...... 9-10


*Not to be used with the NY trigger springs('02 Armorers Manual pg.27)
