Getting a new Hand gun for concealed carry this summer. I currently carry a Glock 23. I want to get a .45 but I also want to get a smaller gun for summer or for when I dress light (or the beach). I will eventualy get both .45 and a smaller gun for summer. I cant make up my mind what do you think I shoud get first? Glock 30 or 36 Kimber Ultra Carry II (Colt, Springfield I have not looked into but i dont want to pass them up) Kahr Pm9 or Pm40 (how are they for pocket carry?) Kel-Tec (the .380) Taurus or S&W (one of the small 5 shot air lights or light weights) |
| I have been a long time .45 fan, but for CC on the beach I don't think you can go wrong with the 23. Other than that, if you can shoot a glock, then stick with it. Officer and sub-compact 1911 style pistols are not very forgiving when it comes to shooting technique, not to mention they won't function very well if they start getting sand in them where the glock will still rock. |

IF i were you,i would get a glock 36 due to it's slim line set up and the safety of a glock and a kahr pm40 or 9. Kahr is a super thin paper weight that is one hell of a gun. With those two pieces you'll spend some cash but, when you carry it'll be worth it. IF i were you , i wouldn't be at the beach to begin with. |
