Need a set of grips for a old M80 .38 spl. This thing has been down the road and has the been there, done that look. Finish is all but gone but it is in good sound condition. Shoots good I might add. Bought it to take on camping trips and I wanted a "I don't give a sh$t if I scratch it" pistol. $140 otd.
Just wanted to give the old boy a decent set of grips? Anyone have any luck refinishing an old pistol? This pistol has zero collector value so I might try and put a finish on. |
I own an older Model 82...and a newer version of the Model 82...the grips are totaly different between the two generations of the same model revolver...
I bought a set of Brazilian hardwood Taurus grips that plug right on the newer rubber-gripped Mod. 82...however the earlier model frame is substantialy different. No way the new/used grips I bought would fit the older variation. |
