+ 3 extra mags
Heinie Straight 8 night sights (3 years old)
Pistol Gear match barrel (cut flush and target crown)
360 degree stippling
Slide finished in KG guncote black
Tungsten guide rod installed
Trigger job with overtravel stop and set to 4.5 lbs.

300 rounds fired.

All work completed by Bowie Tactical Concepts (http://bowietacticalconcepts.com/servicesandshipping.html)

What is a reasonable price to get on gunbroker?

+1

padwan.  you will figure out that pimping out a gun is great for the owner, but not when selling times comes around.   its YOUR gun made to YOUR taste/likes.  IF youre lucky, you will get out what you put into it, but imo, you wont.

i would bid at least 100 bucks less then what you could get a NIB one for including the mags.   the rest of the work/parts wouldnt be even considered.

I'd be surprised if anyone would be willing to give more than $500 for it.

And that's more than I'd be willing to give as I think stippling makes guns, or basically anything UGLY. I would never do this to something I didn't intend to keep forever as you're going to have a hard time selling it for what you want to get out of it.

I know this doesn't help with getting this gun sold, but real nice pistol bud.

If I were in the market for an XD I would def consider it, I think it has alot of features that todays polymer pistol lovers like.

That being said, I don't think you will have trouble selling it at a fair price to you, and the seller.  But what do I know BD

Agreed.  I think you will have a hard time getting above $500 for it, especially b/c of the stippling job.

Something like this is best marketed toward a group that has some idea of the value of the modifications, and who would find them desirable.   I don't know if XDTalk.com has a WTS forum but it'd be worth looking into.

Half the price of a new gun.

The mods add no real value.

Maybe closer to two thirds, but I have to agree, the mods are sunk cost and you're unlikely to recoup any of that.  As far as most buyers are concerned it's a nice used xD.

This is why I try to keep my guns stock, or close to it.
