This is the first post for me in this section so I hope you guys can help me with a few questionsI have. First off I have a Para-ordanace Covert Black Nite-Tac SS Model RX745B 5" 45ACP.
When I received this gun a few years back the case had a little postcard insert saying that I could send the slide to Para and they would install a set of night sights... Well after a few moves and everything I have lost said card. Now I am in the market trying to find some nights sights to replace the white three dot currently installed. I would love to get a set of the true glow TFO (Best of both worlds imo). But my googlefu has been slacking and I am unable to find any information on replace sights for this pistol. I am not opposed to getting a set of trijicon but the TFO's would be #1. I have also been unable to find the cut of the sights. I have read where some people have said a kimber cut or a colt cut sight will work, is this true? Next question... I enjoy carrying my weapons in the Safariland SLS style holsters with the ability to carry with a stream light trl-1 attached. Does the Safariland 6004 SLS holster allow this weapon to be carried in the manner? I found this website (http://www.opticsplanet.net/safariland-model-6004-selection.html) where it has a listing of the pistols that can be carried in this holster design but am I overlooking my model? Any info would be great. I will post some pics of it when I can find the digi cam. cheers |

As to the sights Tritium Night Sight. True glow doesn't make sights currently to fit the Para sight cut. If you're set on having them you'll need to contact a good Smith about cutting the slide to accept (if possible) one of the current True Glow sight models.The frame looks dimensionally similar to the Caspian Recon frame. |
