| I'm replacing the ILS on my SA so I'm replacing the firing pin too. Do I need the XP firing pin spring Wilson Combat sells? Also, will the Ed Brown Hardcore pin work or do I need their cheaper line pin? Descrtiption says it's for 9, 38, 45 Springfield. The Hardcore pins just say all 1911's. |

The standard Ed Brown and Wilson Combat stuff is not as high quality as the Bulletproof and Hardcore parts line. You really don't need an extra power firing pin spring. The standard one should work fine, unless, of course you have fired a lot of rounds and need to replace the recoil spring. Charles the Gunsmith.
