A friend of mine gave me permission to post these picture up of a handgun that he recently found. His wife's father passed away and while they were cleaning out his house they found this wrapped in a cloth bag in a small box in a spare bedrooms closet. He has no idea how old it is or what it is. Could you guys help in identifying it please?

Some info here. The removable cylinder is a characteristic of H&R revolvers. So I googled H&R and "American" (from the top strap) and got this info. There are lots of other articles online. |
