New G19... > Glock

Sold off a few guns to streamline calibers and makes.Just got home from picking up a new gen 4 G19,plan to get another when I can.These will be my HD,SHTF and range toys.I figured it was the smart thing to do for many reasons,esp. since Glock is only an hour away.I'd like to smooth out the trigger a bit and get night sights for now.

I have an Inforce APL,should do the trick.Just got done cleaning her and applying Froglube hope to get a few rounds through her tomorrow if all goes well.

I agree. I do a couple things to my glocks but nothing crazy. Sights, connector and extended slide stop.

I like the orange ones. I think it comes down to personal preference.

You need a gen 4 17 now. I picked up the 19 first and a 17 a month later. I've pretty much been shooting the 17 exclusively since then. Love it.

Yep, we really enjoy our two Glock 19's (although they are Gen 2).

I'm using Ameriglo CAP sights right now. Color is chartreuse (sp?) and really bright both day and night

Just scored some Trijicon HD's in yellow for 133+tax installed

.Now to something to the trigger,maybe a little smoother/less pull but not much.And some Tractiongrips!

My 19 upgrades are Trueglo TFO, talon grips (rubberized), a 3.5# connector and extended mag release.
I also did the .25 cent trigger job.
I had the extended slide stop but recently removed it because the thumb of my trigger sits on top of the stop. Not only was this uncomfortable , occasionally the slide would lock when firing.

Congratulations... G19 maybe the best all-purpose handgun ever made. Trijicon HDs are great sights... i have them on my 17 and had my LGS order them for a 19 that I have. They are expensive but well worth it IMO.
