Bought my first handgun a few days ago.... a Glock 19 after waiting about 9 months to get my license (Dont ask... Long Island NY).
Went to the range today and really happy with the Glock. I guess I drank the kool aid! Heres the obligatory picture.

Very nice. I also have a gen4. Look at the base of your recoil spring and tell us what the number is. If it says 03, Glock has a new spring labeled 04 that you can get for free. It's a little lighter and may work better will target rounds if you get poor ejection/cycling. |

I just received my Gen 4 Glock 19 two days ago. Yesterday I went and put 50 rounds through it and loved every shot.
I have the 03 spring and had no issues shooting 115 grain Blazer ammo through it. I think I will be calling for the 04 spring just in case though. I do not like the idea of FTE's at all! I am probably not going to be getting my 26 out of the safe much anymore since I think the 19 will be my new EDC once I get a holster for it. |
