[ARCHIVED THREAD] - New Novak Hi Power

So I had an extra Les Baer TRS that had been sitting in my safe for the past few years. I purchased two from a friend and told him he could have one back when he wanted it. Well he had this very nice 1969C Novak Hi Power that I needed.......lol. The rest is history.

The bluing is beautiful, trigger is crisp, and the gold bead front sight jumps out at you. Any marks on the gun that you see in the pics are oil. Range report to follow.

That is a real nice HP. Novak does a good job.
I have two HP's (not Novak) in my safe. One is a Hard Chrome and the other is a nice refinished black cerecote (sp).
HP's are some of the best and most ergonomic double stack handguns ever produced.

Very nice. I have had Novak do work on a couple of .45s. I am very happy with them.

On the High Power, the only thing I might consider changing was the addition of the extended tang.

I like mine too OP

If you plan on carrying it, make sure you wipe it down every night. Mine gets some beauty marks from sweat it seems daily, but it wipes off with some oil
