One is for duty/carry w/ about a 5 lb trigger pull & one is for compitition with a 2½-3 lb pull. Same kit for compact & full size guns. The sear is different for the 45 models. |

I have both kits installed, the Competition kit in a Pro and the Duty kit in a standard, I would definitely recommend the Duty kit for a carry gun and not the Competition kit, unless you're running a manual safety. But that's just me. Both kits are vast, VAST improvements on the trigger, and the Pro was not bad to begin with. |
