Question here, I just ordered a set of night sights and was wondering if anyone knew how diffiicult it would be to put them on myself?

Should I have my local gunsmith do it or is it a pretty simple task?

What type of handgun?

If its an xD and you feel comfy with a brass punch and hammer, you can *TRY* to do it yourself.

I'd personally get it done by a competent gunsmith (preferably one with xD experience)...but thats just me.

I have the XD-9, some may ask why i didnt just buy it equipped with the night sights...dealer didnt have it in stock and I couldnt wait. Now i wish i had.

What exactly is a brass punch and hammer???
