| Just picked up my new TRP (.45cal) and got it home to inspect it. I disassembled it and brother is everything tight! After getting it all cleaned up, oiled, etc. I tried reassembling it. I could not get the darned slide stop in! I spent a bunch of time trying and trying. I've had countless 1911A1s (and still do) and have never had this problem before. I finally got a center punch, lined it up under the slide stop and pressed against the ball in the plunger tube, pushed and the slide stop popped right in! Never seen that before. Haven't got to shoot it yet but looking forward to it. |
