Picked up a new toy today:
Uberti No. 3 2nd model in .45 Colt. LNIB, appears as if it was fired little if at all. $608+tax at Cabela's in Columbus, OH. Was originally $640 but they gave me their military discount even though since I'm no longer active and not reserve/retired I shouldn't have been eligible(I didn't ask for it by the way, salesman noticed the shirt I was wearing). Normally run about $900-$950 new, so I think I got a bargain. |
| Took her the range today. Didn't shoot for groups, but it handled really nice. Took a little getting used to compared to my Uberti SAA, but I like the way this feels in recoil a bit better than the Peacemaker. Was running hand loads of a 250 grain LRNFP over 5.5 grains of Trail Boss. |
