Decided I needed .45, so I picked up an Ultra Carry II yesterday. Paid too much for it, but WTH, sometimes it happens, especially in this town.
Went out to shoot it today, and have to say that it was a great experience. Just shooting snow to see if the thing worked, as I did not feel like walking through a few feet of snow to set up a target, so accuracy is unknown, but it felt very comfortable to shoot, with much less recoil and muzzle action that I expected. Dis-assembly was a PITA, just could not get the recoil spring out for awhile, but after that, not a problem. On the way home, I was, and still am, considering another .45 - there is another UC II at the shop - twins? |

I think you will find the accuracy to be very good for a 3 in 1911 I am waiting for the snow to clear from the range - I really do like the way it shoots though. I actually found another one in town from a different dealer (i.e., way cheaper) and picked one up for the future. |
