I have been a glock fan for over a decade. But I've been very intrigued by the new Springfield XDM's. To my surprise a local shop had one in stock today at a decent price. After some sweet talking to the boss, the new XDM9 came home with me. It will take some getting used to, but I believe I will like it. I put about a 100 rounds through it today and got better by the last mag or so. I just missed the promo to get 2 free magazines and a mag holder. Anyone know if there are some good night sights out for it yet and also what would be a good IWB holster? http://i701.photobucket.com/albums/ww14/rneal_ra/xdm9.jpg |

Is it a full size pistol or a compact? I currently have a Glock 19 (Compact) and wonder should I switch... 19+1 round capacity is No. Don't switch. Have you handled one? It fits your hand like a glove, perfect. It doesn't feel akward. Your right, don't switch you probably won't go back to the glock if you do |

Definitely don't switch if that is your carry gun. It is more along the lines of the G17 size.
The fobus style holster that came with it, is not very good for concealment. I am searching for a good IWB holster so that I can try to carry it at least during cold months. |
