Hi guys,
I just bought a new G43. I have not owned a Glock before. I noticed when the slide is back and the gun is tilted forward, the firing pin protrudes from the breech face. When I tilt the gun back, the firing pin retracts. When I ride the slide forward, the firing pin will retract when the action is nearly closed (about 1/4" from closing). I'm embarrassed to ask, but is this normal? I don't want a slam fire when I load it.
