This might be a stupid question but if I don’t ask ill never know.  Last night after cleaning my glock I put a drop of oil on the barrel and made sure it was lubricated this morning i pulled back the slide and the barrel is dry does it need more oil or is suppose to be dry to the touch???????? Newbie to NON Revolver hand guns HELP please

might want to try Rem Oil, its a dry lubricant, makes for alot easier cleaning also

Glocks need very little oil to run well.  Unless you are going to be storing the gun for extended periods of time then a light lubrication will serve you very well.

Oh, I don't think it would hurt anything to put another drop of oil on it.  Then again, it's a Glock.  If you shot it dry for the next five years, I don't think that would do any damage either.

I like to put a couple of drops of oil on a Q-tip.  I then rub it all over the outside of the barrel, locking lugs, slide rails, etc.  This makes sure everything is lubed, but only with a very thin film of oil.  My Glocks run great, and show no signs of wear.

Enjoy your Glock, and don't  worry about having to baby it like other guns.

I use four or five very small drops of Mobil 1, 15W50 on my Glocks.  Works for me.

i clp mine down real good; right before range time, i use a rag and wipe all of it off
