Is the magazine body of the FNX or FNP 45 that same between 10 round and fiften round in size. Could I take the guts out of a 15 round mag and put the imto a 10 round magazine body and still hold 15 rounds?

In you lived in a mag ban state could this be done so if checked the mags would look like the 10 round mag and actually hold 15.

Only if you if you wanted to be arrested on felony charges, go to jail, and have a large amount of court and lawyer costs, if caught.

Normally, the only difference be tween mags is a spacer/blocker in the mags.

I've never seen the FNP/FNX 10rd magazines, but if the design is similar to others 10 rd. designs, I would say no.

All of the 10 rd. pistol magazines I have seen have indentations stamped into the the body of the magazine to limit the depth of the follower inside the body so that when the 10 rd is loaded, the follower impacts the indentations and is prevented from going any deeper in the mag body....effectively limiting the total capacity regardless of the length of the magazine body.

They have them listed on the FNH websight. I know on the M&P 22 10 round mags, there is a spacer. Once removed it's a fully functional 12 mag. Not sure about other mags, but I'm sure the principle is the same.
