I would have no reservations with anything that Novak does.......having sent three slides to them......their work is awsome and done in a timely manor......the choice is yours........

This is relevant to my interests.  My CAA rail is serviceable, but I'm seriously considering Novak or the TRG rail for my next builds.

That TRG rail is hideous! If you intend on bolting a rail to the frame than the Dawson rail is your best option. I'm not sure of any holsters that fit a 1911 with the Novak rail, but am positive they are made for the Dawson rail. The Dawson rail is slimmer and is imho more aesthetically pleasing. I had one and when the light was off it seemed like it wasn't even there.

I believe the Novak rail installed should fit holsters that work on Caspian Recon style frames, which is a lot of guns.

I put one on a taurus, but it's actually the Brownells steel rail.  I don't know how to post pics so I can't back it up.
