I have a couple Novak 1911 mags that came with a GSR I used to own. I really like them, and want some more. I can't find any. I read that an Italian maker made these for Novak to his specs. I found a bunch of similar ones, and have to guess that they may be by the same manufacturer with other names on them. Brownells used to sell them, but I didn't find them after several pages of searches. 8 rounders, polished stainless steel, witness holes, plastic base, follower that won't fall out................ Guide wildearp to a source, please.  (No Wilsons for me!) I am trying to beat this price: link 100-001-014 $17 found them. They left out Novak on the webpage, but the catalog calls it right. link |

Novak mags are made by www.act-mag.com/ My GSR didn't come with these since SIG started using checkmate mags. But I've been using ACT/Novak mags for my kimber for a year (alternating with my Wilson Combat 47Ds) The ACT/Novak mags have proven itself very durable. I've been purchasing them heretopgunsupply |
Got two with my GSR, and predictably, they run just fine. Sig is shipping GSR's with checkmates now? A brand that is well known to fail in the case of their M9 mags. Thats great, what next, Promag? BTW, huge giant +1 for Top Gun Supply, best internet vendor out there. |
