I have been waiting for my OD green Glock 22 for over two months now. I finally just gave in and purchased a black 22 but i'm keeping the OD on order. They tell me that Glock only runs an OD batch once per year, is this true? how long have you all been "on order"?

Thank you!!

Just picked mine up two weeks ago, took me 5 days to get after I ordered it.  Mine was an LEO 19 though, so I'm sure that makes a difference.

is there a difference in the OD colors? Some photos I've seen look more green compared to some that look like flat dark earth (brown). I would like one of the brown 19s or 34s but not a green one. Anyone know the difference?

I thought the same thing. I learned that it is just the lighting when the picture is taken. Sometimes mine looks green and in other light it looks really brown. Here is a pic.

thats interesting that it looks different in different light. Can you post a picture of the same glock outside in the sunlight?

My G35 OD Green took 3 months and this was back in '06.

Just keep looking, they're out there.  I have three Glocks in OD Green now...working on another one, G22.

Yes and No. Yes, the OD Glock's are very hard to photograph and capture the true color (especially if you are not really a camera junkie). Even yours looks more FDE in the pic then my G17 OD. Here is my recently purchased G17 OD and I can't tell you have many different things I had to play with to get the correct color in the pic...

That said, I have seen a number of "OD" Glocks in person and most of them all looked just like they do in the pics, like FDE not OD. The one I get was the first one I've seen in person that actually look OD green to me.

I know, I was really disappointed when I got it because I was expecting\wanting FDE like all the other OD Glocks I've seen. Just my luck I actually got a green OD Glock

Here's another pic of the same gun just to show how different lighting will drastically effect the way the color shows...

In my neck of the woods the OD glocks aren't really hard to find. I have seen 3-4 G19's at one store alone. A G17, G26 and a G21sf even.

It isn't a sticker. It is a Lone Wold back plate. Like $30 bucks and replaces the plastic OEM one with some personality. Some like em some hate em. To each his/her own.

If I could find an OD Glock 34 with the desert tan coloring, I wouldn't be able to stop myself from buying.........that is if price was right of course. My local stores want $600+ for a 17 which is outragous.
