Attached File Picked it up today, second VP9. IMO these are the best striker fired pistol available. I own, Glocks, M&Ps, Steyrs, Daggers, Sigs. And while they all have their charms, the VP9 just has the combination of quality, ergonomics, trigger, excellent sights. |

Did you buy it as a V3 or convert it? It took me years to find a V3 and then ultimately I put an LEM kit in it.

Not a pistol from HK per se.... but my buddy gave me a catalog from 2005. We went to SHOT Show that year, and he grabbed a few and saved them. When I bought the USP Expert, he dug one out and gave it to me. Catalog even lists the P7M8, though it says "out of production, limited availability."

 First HK, gonna turn it into a Mk 24. Suppressor is currently in jail, did the v3 conversion to it, all that's left is tracking down the correct iron sights and the Crimson Trace laser. |

They shoot amazingly. Start looking around for the LBT holster as they are rare and spendy in the hot patterns. |

Coincidentally, my TiRant got approved today so the Mk 24 is one step closer to completion. Gonna shoot it with the suppressor height sights first before I swap them out for the Meprolights. Yes, I know the decocker lever is tilted weird. I've tried removing and reinstalling it like four times and it always ends up like that. It functions perfectly, just looks a little weird. Actually feels slightly more comfortable to decock than the original v1 lever did. If it becomes an issue I'll take it to a gunsmith to try and figure out what's wrong  |

Fun range trip yesterday, shot really well. I had fliers on the 3rd round of the first two mags on both my HK45 and my Glock for some reason, then after that both were perfect. Can performed great, much quieter than I expected. Had some problems with the left hand muzzle threads and right hand piston threads wanting to fight each other, but luckily didn't get any baffle strikes.  |

Picked this up for a screaming deal, couldn't pass it up. Love the pistol but absolutely hate the caliber...even bought a box of 40 and gave it a chance. Now just (im)patiently waiting for EFK to come out with more 40 -> 9mm conversion barrels (they said about 2-3 months a couple weeks ago when I emailed them) and then this'll be my EDC.  Current EDC is a P2000SK but I feel like it just isn't right for me for whatever reason. |

P2000s have been cheap recently, I would look for one of those in 9mm. Not the SK as you have discovered. I don't think the 40 to 9mm conversions are suitable for EDC IMO |

They have been 100% reliable. |
