First and foremost I'd like to say I'm not a handgun guy. My background is carbine rifles. I've always thrown around the idea of getting a handgun, but nothing more than that. I'd like to take a tactical carbine course and they all require a handgun. Of course this has me thinking more about handguns. I'm looking for something that is DA/SA, 9mm, "high" round cap, but still small enough for CCW if I chose that route. I've narrowed down my search to the PX4 and FNP9, but was wondering what other choices are there? Oh, max price is $450, but would like to stay under $400 if possible. |

to fit your criteria: the SW all metal lines, Ruger autos, Berettas (storm and 92, etc), FN, etc Sig (P229/228 would be my choice), HK USPs would be my choices of your 2, either one is a fine choice for the price, but i prefer sigs and Hks over FNs and Berettas when it comes to HGs...YMMV |
