I thought I just got a good deal on a p11 with known issues for $150 and I figured I would need to send it in.  Then I saw the thread about a 6-8 week turnaround!
I may have to see if their parts department is faster and try fixing it myself.
Maybe someone here can help.  About every 6 rounds or so the damn thing has light primer strikes.  Multiple trigger pulls will eventually fire the round and otherwise it functions fine.  It is kinda neat getting in some "surprise" dry firing practice when shooting regularly.  I can definitely see how bad I tend to jerk when the hammer breaks over.  Anyway, the guy that owned it before me said he sold it because he had  the same problem and had already sent it back once and it was returned with the same problem.  He didn't elaborate on how long it took at the shop though.  I  cleaned out the firing pin channell and oiled it good and it still does it.  While I had it apart I fiddled with the hammer/trigger like you would testing a FCG on an AR and it just seems relatively light when compared to the firing pin return spring so I'm planning on seeing if they'll just send some different springs to try out.
I will say, for the rounds that fire, it is impressively accurate so far and I do like the way it feels.  It may be my CCW if I get the problems worked out.
Let me know if you guys have any different ideas.
