What's the difference between the regular P226 and this model, besides the truglo front site and the fact that it comes with higher cap mags?  Also are these the high cap mags pictured in this gun?

Thanks.

from your link, yes those are the new style mags pictured.

The P226 SCT is an all black, Nitron® finished P226 featuring front cocking serrations, a SIGLITE® rear night sight, a TRUGLO® Tritium Fiber Optic front sight and comes with four newly designed 20-round magazines for the 9mm version or four 15-round magazines for the .40S&W version.

That's what I thought.  I just wanted to make sure that there was nothing I was missing.

Thanks

Sig is turning into 31 flavors.  Something for everyone.

IMO, it's just marketing.  It would be nice if they would offer these mags for sale like Beretta does.

I would imagine that after a while they would start to offer the mags for sale.  Does anyone know how the TFO's hold up?  I was looking at this as a possibility for a duty pistol.

Thanks.

Hmmm . . . . seems kinda' silly that they aren't selling the mags, separately.

I know I'd probably snatch up a few - provided they weren't priced through the roof! (Like Sig mags usually are!)

I shot an email to sig about the possibility of the mags coming onto the market.  Once they respond, I'll post.

I emailed them about a month ago asking this same question.  Still waiting for a response.

I have the TFOs on my Glock 21SF and they should hold up well because the fiber is protected by metal unlike fiber sights you would see on a shotgun. They work great.  You do have to be careful when cleaning as solvent will damage them.
